Local Life Leaders
MEET THE L3 TEAM
We like to say that Southwind Fields belongs to God first, and our Locals second. Our Local Life Leaders work along side the Southwind Leadership team to help guide the direction of the organization with the intention of encouraging personal growth. The L3 team is open to anyone. Potential Local Life Leaders may nominate themselves or can be nominated by the Local Family each year in October. Incoming L3 members go through a supportive interview process to join and are asked to sign an honor code upon induction. Local Life Leaders:
Participate in board meetings.
Travel with the leadership team to out of town presentations and conferences as appropriate and as they are available (L3’s are not asked to take time off of work for these events).
Serve in place of a “development team”, speaking on behalf of Southwind Fields, or manning the booth, at resource fairs, presentations, and other opportunities in which the mission of Southwind is being shared.
Receive monthly leadership training and public speaking training for those who desire to participate in speaking engagements.
Help to lead by example and develop the Southwind lifestyle and culture.
Co-lead “Local Teams” that center around welcoming incoming locals, social media management, photography, merchandise development, music (The Local Vibe), Podcasting, Local events, theater, and Writting/Bloggling/Vlogging.
